Your Daily Business

As an IT/OT Network Administrator with a focus on Cisco LAN technologies, you will ensure the stability, security, and performance of our corporate and industrial network environments. You will work across both IT and OT domains, supporting critical production systems and contributing to the continuous improvement of our infrastructure.
  • Network Monitoring & Reliability: Proactively monitor network performance (LAN/WLAN/OT segments), identify anomalies, and take preventive or corrective actions to maintain high availability in production and office environments.
  • Infrastructure Management: Design, configure, and maintain Cisco-based network components, including Catalyst switches, industrial Ethernet switches, wireless controllers, and access points, while ensuring configurations follow internal standards and best practices.
  • OT Network Support Support and maintain industrial network segments, including VLAN segmentation, zone separation, and communication paths for OT protocols (e.g., PROFINET, Modbus/TCP, EtherNet/IP).
  • Project Participation Contribute to network deployment and modernization projects, including hardware rollouts, network design, segmentation initiatives, and security improvements.
  • 3rd-Level Troubleshooting Provide expert-level support for complex network issues, working closely with IT, OT, and production teams to ensure system stability and minimal downtime.

What makes you a good fit

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in IT/OT networks, Cisco LAN technologies, and network security. Ideally, you bring the following skills and experience:
  • IT & Network Administration Experience: 5-10 years of hands-on experience in IT/OT network administration, with a solid understanding of enterprise network environments.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in Cisco LAN technologies, including Cisco Catalyst switching, Cisco Wireless VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, RADIUS/NAC. Experience with Industrial Ethernet switches (Cisco IE series or similar) is an advantage.
  • LAN/WLAN & Network Design: Experience with LAN/WLAN design, configuration, and troubleshooting, preferably within complex enterprise infrastructures.
  • OT & Industrial Networks: Familiarity with industrial network environments, including protocols such as PROFINET, Modbus/TCP, EtherNet/IP, as well as segmentation concepts like zones and conduits.
  • Network security: Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles in IT/OT environments, including segmentation strategies, firewall technologies, secure access concepts, and solutions (e.g. Cisco ISE, Fortinet, Hirschmann).
  • Cloud, Hybrid & Monitoring: Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS, including hybrid infrastructure architecture, migration of on-premises environments to the cloud, and cloud networking. Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as ManageEngine OpManager, Datadog, or SolarWinds is a plus.
  • Certifications: Certifications such as Cisco CCNA or CCNP are an advantage, but equivalent hands-on experience is equally valued.
  • Customer Service & Communication: Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Work Style & Mindset: High level of initiative, ability to work independently, and confidence operating in complex, cross‑functional environments.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally for project or site support.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English (written and spoken). Additional languages are a plus.

What you’ll love

  • Global Impact: Be part of a truly international organization where you collaborate with diverse teams across countries and cultures and make a real global impact.
  • Stability & Security: Build your future on a solid foundation with a permanent contract that offers long‑term stability and supports your career journey.
